Creating ‘Synchronicity’ for the Shrewsbury Flower Show was hard work and there were some major low points. Having said that, there were some pretty good high points as well! Especially receiving a Silver Gilt Award.

It seems strange, and rather sad, to have created a garden that now only exists in peoples memories and in photographs.

But I’m back working in my gardens - busily cutting back the voluptuous summer growth, tidying the tired perennials and continuing to dead head, dead head, dead head.

Plus there are new gardens to visit and re-vamp.

Life is never stationary for a gardener / garden designer and certainly never boring.
